TS report a record year for their range of Elite Cameron Coaters and Laminators.

“We have experienced an increase in demand for both our Hot Melt Coaters and Laminators, producing, one machine a month from our facility in Taunton,” says Tim Self Director “We have just installed two machines for Interchemall, a large Polish  Foam Converter”

The order included an HM1000 Slot Die Coater with a capability of 1600mm Coating Width. The Hot Melt Die and Adhesive application equipment was supplied by Valco-Melton of Telford. The HM1000 was capable of coating down to 10g across the full 1600mm width, with great precision, at speeds up to 300 meters / minute. The machine used the latest digital drives and tension control, eliminating stretch, producing high quality, lay flat laminates.

“We work very closely with TS and have supplied our Coating Equipment on a wide range of their machines” Says Bob Taylor, Sales Director of Valco. “This machine was very versatile with the ability to coat directly on to Foam, Film and Paper based substrates.

The two Companies found that by combining their respective skills and experience in Coating and Web processing, the machines perform exceptionally well on the most demanding of applications.     

In addition Interchemall also took delivery of a very high Specification Foam laminator that produced sheet to sheet, roll to sheet and roll to roll laminates. The construction was modular with quick release docking stations to suit the desired material format. The machinery was installed near Warsaw in a new, purpose built facility which represents a very significant investment.

Coating and Converting Solutions in Birmingham recently introduced a third 1600mm wide, Valco cold slot die head for emulsion coating. The new Coater was installed a few months ago with a three zone drying tunnel and in line Coat weight measurement system.  Their significant investment included the addition of a free standing, Elite Cameron LM1600 Laminator to enable them to Corona Treat foams, laminate and slit large diameter coils in one process.

TS manufacture the full range of Elite Cameron Laminators for the precision lamination of substrates such as films, rubbers, foams and non wovens. These off line machines enable converters to construct their own laminates with adhesive tapes. Recent Laminator installations include Parafix Tapes and a Medical customer both of which are operating in clean room environments.
